How do payments actually work?

What's the catch on the free plan?
One active portal and a small "Made with Portlkit" badge on it. That's the whole catch, payments and milestones aren't rationed.
Can it look like my studio instead of Portlkit?
On Pro, yes, your logo, your brand color, portals at yourstudio.portlkit.com (or portlkit.yourstudio.com if you own a domain), and the badge disappears. Your client sees your studio, full stop.
What happens to my portals if I cancel?
They're yours. Portals go read-only so clients keep access to what you delivered, and you can export your files and history any time.
